Water Taxis generally depart
Puerto Vallarta & return from Yelapa
every few hours starting around 7;30
am until 6:00 pm every day,
depending on the time of year. We
recommend leaving from the main
pier (not the marina) which is
located at the north end of the
beach; Playa Los Muertos in the old
part of Puerto Vallarta. Tell the taxi
driver at the airport you want the
water taxi to Yelapa and they will
take you to the pier. The price for
the water taxi is $120 pesos or $10
US dollars per person each way.
The boat ride is no frills, but your
luggage is not a problem. The
scenic trip down the coast takes
about 45 minutes and it not unusual
to see dolphins, whales, flying fish,
or manta rays. We recommend
buying only one-way tickets on the
boat in case you return with a
different operator.
When you arrive our caretaker
Diego, his father Jose or son Fry for
100 pesos will greet you at the dock
and help carry your bags for the
easy 5 minute walk to Casa Grace.
He will help you get settled and then
answer any questions you may have
about the stores, restaurants,
directions etc.
You arrive and depart from here at
the village pier in Yelapa, a five
minute stroll from Casa Grace.

You can also leave or arrive here at the main beach.
The village is in the background - 20 min's walk away.
